There Be Dragons

One of Brett’s former co-workers, when he worked at Gazillion, had an impressive collection of model dragons. The first time I visited Brett’s office over a year ago, I saw them on his desk and stared at them with fascination and envy in my heart. A couple of months before Brett left Gazillion, the owner of said dragons left, and left behind part of his collection. I was at Brett’s office after he left, and one of Brett’s co-workers mentioned that he didn’t work there anymore. I said, “But, his dragons are still here…” The guy said, “Yeah, he took the ones he wanted and said the rest were up for grabs.” I couldn’t believe it, “Really??! Why would he do that?” “I dunno, but help yourself.” I ended up taking two of them. I really like dragons and these models are really well done. They are now adorning the top of the bookshelf in my bedroom. I love the way they look down on me when I’m laying in bed.
